Order Grass-fed Beef now. Ready in Dec.

The beeves are looking really nice this year. Lots of rain, fresh air and sunshine made for lots of great grass.




Here’s the scoop:

We’ll be selling the beef this year for $5.25 lb hanging weight. Including processing. I know, it gets a little complicated.  Quarter weights from different steers vary but chances are your quarter will be somewhere plus or minus 130 pounds. If you want to specify your custom cuts we’ll send you a cut sheet and you can work with the processor to cut your roasts and steaks the way you like them.  If you don’t want to think about cut sheets, that’s cool. Just ask us for the “Rancher’s Choice” and we’ll cut it the way we like it. (It’s great no matter how you slice it.) Your quarter beef is a split quarter, so it has a nice mix of steaks, roasts and ground beef. It’s quite a lot of ground beef.

The processor is in Woodville, WI. It’s a bit of a drive, about 15min past Hudson, but it’s a cool place and can be a nice little road trip. We’ll let you know when it’s ready and you can pick up your beef there. They have a lot of other really great meats and they are award-winning sausage makers so you may come home with some really yummy extra stuff.

We’ll be harvesting the second beeves the first week of Dec.

If you’d rather have your meat delivered it’s an extra $25.
