Beef and Lamb
We’re ready for beef and lamb orders.
Beef: $5.25 per pound hanging weight (includes processing)
Lamb: Whole lambs $385 including processing.
Chances are your beef is going to be somewhere on either side of 130 pounds hanging weight. You won’t get that much meat after it’s processed. Plan on around 75-80 pounds frozen in your freezer. If you want to specify your custom cuts, we’ll send you a cut sheet and you can work with the processor to cut your roasts and steaks the way you like them. If you don’t want to think about cut sheets, that’s cool. Just ask us for the Rancher’s Choice and we’ll cut it the way we like it. (It’s great no matter how you slice it.) Your quarter beef is a mixed quarter, so it has a nice mix of steaks, roasts and ground beef. It’s quite a lot of ground beef.
The processor we used to use went bankrupt, so we’re arranging to use a different one. We’ll update this info when we know more, You’ll have two ways to get your meat: Drive to the processor or have us deliver to the Twin Cities ($25 delivery fee). It’s a bit of a drive, but it can be a nice little road trip in the fall. We’ll let you know when it’s ready and you can pick up your meat there.
