Crazy Rooster Farm
A small western Wisconsin farm focused on grass-fed beef and seasonal events. We work closely with Levi to manage pasture, winter forage, and the day-to-day care of the animals.

Our farms
Our beef comes from a small network of nearby farms: Crazy Rooster Farm and Levi's Farm. Together they handle pasture, winter forage, and daily animal care — at a scale small enough that someone actually notices what's happening.

Levi is our Amish farming partner and the person most involved in the animals' daily care. His approach is quiet and observant — watch the animals, pay attention to the pasture, respond to what's actually happening instead of forcing a standard system onto the land.
They graze grasses, clover, and other forage through the growing season, and get stored forage when pasture isn't available. No grain, ever.
Verified standards:
100% grass-fed and grass-finished. No grain. No growth hormones. No routine antibiotics. No medicated feed.
If an animal ever needs treatment for its welfare, we'll say so plainly and explain what that means for that animal — we won't make an absolute "never treated" claim we can't back up.
Everything's processed at Sailer's Food Market & Meat Processing in Elmwood, Wisconsin — a fifth-generation local processor serving western Wisconsin. Keeping processing close cuts down on transport time and gets you real custom cutting, not a commodity line.
